Analysis could not be easier or more reliable: The cuvette tests are ready for immediate use – anywhere, any time. Automatic 10-fold rotational measurement makes reliable measurement child's play. The DR 5000 identifies the inserted cuvette from its barcode and automatically calls up the correct calibration data. No need even to press a button! All system components can be validated with the ADDISTA analytical quality assurance system. Innovations such as the DOSICAP enable solid reagents to be added in exactly the right amounts without using any aids. The cuvette is a transport, reaction and measuring vessel in one.

The DR 5000's large backlit graphic display is a touchscreen, making operation extremely easy. The clearly arranged menus guide the user to his or her desired goal, and user methods can be quickly programmed. The pleasing design is ergonomic, while the smoothly sliding cover automatically triggers the measurement when it closes. All HACH LANGE tests are fully pre-programmed. Errors are excluded from the very start.

The universal cuvette holder in the DR 5000 helps to keep the laboratory tidy. Whether 10, 20 or 50 mm rectangular cuvette or 1 inch round or rectangular- cuvette – you have the correct adapter in no time at all. A changer module for 10 mm rectangular cuvettes and a sipper module for flowthrough measurement are separately available. If a specific temperature is required, a Peltier module ensures a balanced environment. All cuvette modules are automatically identified.
