Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales consultant to focus on developing our reagent business by actively promoting our products and services to a defined territory and customer base.
Main activities:
*Developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
*Performs all sales activity within an assigned geographic territory to meet company objectives.
*Prepares detailed sales action plans identifying: sales objectives, sales opportunities, major customers, and regional shows to be attended during the following fiscal year.
*Working closely with the Lab sales team to drive the reagent business through the existing strategy.
*Supporting the development of reagent sales through the activities of the telesales team.
*Train the Lab Sales Teams on all technical aspects of Hach Lange reagents for Industry, waste-water and drinking water sectors.
*Participates in sales activities including: customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations and customer seminars.
*Collects and reports information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory.
Requirements
- A degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences, or equivalent experience.
- A successful sales track record in industrial or process sales in similar products and services.
- Sales training would be preferred, but may be obtained immediately after employment.
- Strong pc sills with demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the internet.
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively.
- A high level of self-motivation with a strong desire to succeed.
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to handle concurrent projects.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability overcome objections with both technical and non-technical customers.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
