The ready-to-use round cuvettes are made of special optical glass and contain exactly the right amounts of reagents.

To carry out an analysis, the sample simply has to be pipetted into the cuvette. The closed cuvette system and the minimal amount of reagents guarantees maximum safety for the user and the environment.

The cuvette test achieves savings of more than 90 % of the environmentally harmful chemicals used by the previous method: potassium dichromate, sulphuric acid, silver
and mercury. Used cuvettes can also be recycled, in the HACH LANGE Environment Centre.
